Saturday, June 6th - Update

Happy Saturday! Mom is doing great. She already walked once (three laps!!) and is on 30% high flow, down from 40% yesterday. She will be on the high flow for 18 hours today and rest on the ventilator at 2 am. The team is super happy with her progress this week and very positive about her recovery. They are continuing to push to get her off the ventilator little by little. 

Her gtube was leaking this morning because someone left the port open and she missed her morning medication since it leaked out...they have since fixed it and have to give her more medication to fix her blood sugar levels 🙈 she is doing fine though. The blood sugar is something they are always trying to fix. 

Craig is visiting this afternoon!
