Transition Awakens Strength

Thankful that @bekindandsmileoften is home and getting stronger everyday. (Just in time for my birthday last Thursday) She was listed at UCLA for new lungs and has some time to rest and heal while we wait. Sleeping in a bed, being able to walk around barefoot and in my pjs and not hearing any beeping noises at night are some of the many highlights we have being back home. Mom’s 5 1/2 week hospital stay has brought a whole new meaning to “being thankful for the little things”. So much love for everyone who supported us, who encouraged us with a text or call or hug. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love and prayers. She is a living, breathing (we are still not sure how she is able to breathe but are so grateful she can) miracle.
