Tuesday, March 17th - Update

Morning update!

Yesterday was a great day and with a good nights sleep, today is starting off great too! Mom had two walks and the nurses are giving her glowing reviews. Last nights nurse made sure I knew how sweet she was. Oh we all know I told her.

She was tested for COVID which came back negative so yay! Uncle David is cleared to visit her while the rest of us are still unable to.

Her ventilator settings are lower and she is doing most of the breathing work on her own. Lots of sitting in her chair, HGTV & strolls around the ICU halls. She is down to one chest tube and all additional lines are officially out! Blood sugar is still a challenge as it tends to be with the anti rejection medications but the team feels really positive about all the progress she is making!
