Monday, April 20th - Update

AH so many ups & downs. Mom is doing way better today. She slept the whole night on her ventilator and woke up feeling a lot better. 

Yesterday was really tough. She woke up in pain and anxiety and was really pushed to workout her lungs. Unfortunately it was too much and caused her Co2 to skyrocket and her to crash a bit in the afternoon. Her levels got better after a few hours on the ventilator but she was pretty out of it. Kinda a blessing she doesn’t remember most of the day. 

Today will be a lot more rest and getting help from the ventilator. Bronchoscopy at 2 to check the lungs but other than that and a couple of walks, she has a restful day planned.

Bronchoscopy went well, nothing of concern. Mom did two walks on the vent settings and feels pretty good for being so worn out.
